Crisscross Adventures is an Addo Tour Operator specialising in Individual, Family or Group Tours of Addo, South Africa since 2005. Crisscross Adventures offer quality, safe and affordable adventure tours of the Greater Addo Region in the Eastern Cape or Customized Tours of South Africa. The local Addo Tours feature Addo Elephant National Park game drives, as well as a variety of other Addo Activities such as: Addo River, Beach and Mountain Safaris specializing in Bird Watching.
Crisscross Adventures recognise that Addo offers some of the world's best photographic opportunities and the pace of the tours keep this in mind, giving you time to absorb the scene and linger for that perfect shot.

The company's mission is to encourage visitors to enjoy the many different activities available in the Addo area, and to have a holistic experience of the diversity Addo has to offer. Specifically within the Addo Elephant National Park, whilst educating them about the environment and nature conservation.
The Eastern Cape has become the wildlife and adventure holiday destination of choice, due to the fact that it is a malaria free, and home to one of the largest National Parks in South Africa, the Addo Elephant National Park. The Eastern Cape is synonymous with: breathtaking scenery, wide open spaces, prolific birdlife, the only province in South Africa to host 5 biomes of vegetation, a serene refuge from the stresses of daily life, and it is the playground of Crisscross Adventures.

THE GUIDES
The Crisscross Adventure guides are qualified field guides with FGASA and first aid trained. Crisscross Adventures is owner managed by Chris Pickels, a young, experienced outdoor man and Qualified Tourist Guide (DEAT/THETA accredited) committed to Nature Conservation, with a passion for Wildlife, and the Greater Addo with all its magnificent natural wonders. Chris has lived in the area his whole life, and being the third generation in his family to live in Addo, he knows the secret spots to visit in The Greater Addo Elephant National Park and surrounding areas, as well as its great history. Christopher is a local Addo guide and offers tours from a local perspective, with plenty of great stories of Addo through the years.
Terri Wolhuter (family of well known Kruger National Park Ranger, Harry Wolhuter), helps manage and operate Crisscross Adventures. Terri is a Qualified Teacher, an avid musician and singer with a love for the bush, Addo’s amazing Fauna and Flora, and community upliftment and skills development.
THE EQUIPMENT
Crisscross Adventures offers guests quality adventure equipment including: custom designed canoes, fishing equipment and mountain bikes. The tour vehicles are closed, comfortable and feature high ground clearance, guaranteeing your comfort while looking for the perfect shot.
